First of all lets start off with yet another random image that I found while searching the net for Ron's secret pr0n stash (I know I will find it someday u just wait buddy) I think it looks cool anyway so yeah.
Anyway with that out of the way, lets talk tech for a minute. As some of you may already know and others may have discovered on their own, the site is finally at a stage where I can say it's basically complete. I say basically because there will always be new things added to the site and little bugs here and there that need fixing, but the basic framework is done and working out nicely and I hope that it is everything you expected it to be and for those of you out there that are interested here are some facts about the site.
1.) The entire site (minus the scripts) was coded by hand in notepad ( don't ask )
2.) Total time spent working on the site so far has been around 100 hours ( that's how much I lub 1up )
3.) The site was designed for a resolution of 1024x768 but should look fine on just about any resolution. (Thanks to Zhalix)
4.) The primary colors used throughout the site are #161616, #78CB00, #FFFFFF, and ofcourse #000000
5.) I have lost 1000 strands of hair, 100 hours of sleep, 10 lbs, & 1 family member while designing this site.
6.) Internet Explorer 6 (probably 7 & 8 as well) is pure EVIL and was coded by people who hate the internet. (ok, I admit this one is just a tad bit bias but I have good reasons)
Anyway that's about it and like I stated before I do hope you enjoy the site and choices I made while designing it, I did try to incorporate some of your suggestions and will continue to do so over the next few weeks. I also would like to design a more advanced version of the site that has more user interaction and uses alot more graphics, but it will be awhile before I even start on it so don't hold your breath.
Finally, I just wanted to again acknowledge Zhalix and Ron for all their help and support, I won't get into the details but the last week has been pretty stressful for me and they have both been really understanding so I thank you both for that. I would also like to thank the rest of the 1up members who this past week voted me into your clan as a full member and it really does confirm what I have known for along time now and that is 1up is the greatest urban terror clan there is period !!!
