The entire time I was convinced it was going to flash some terrifying face and try to scare me. Also, the best part of the whole thing is the last page with all the links to google+, facebook, twitter, pinterest, tumblr, etc. that it had been bashing the whole time. Irony?

I would not say that it was bashing those social websites, but rather giving you a break from all of them for a while.  Some live on their PC's and cell phones like it is the only way to communicate with one another.  I find the site rather relaxing and I felt pretty good afterwards.  I do not have a fb, twitter, or google+, but I do have deviantART.  I may not have a fb account, but I do use forums, instant messengers, email, and deviantART for online socializing.

The quiet place project took me away from all those social sites, and gave my mind a break from the meaningless buzz which does occupy much of my time on the net.  It was refreshing, and I only posted the link to share the feeling which others may feel.

I have the things, but I also use them on a professional level, as well as personal to an extent. With in some cases being half the world away from some of my friends, it makes it easier for us to check up on each other once in awhile.

nice site though. though I do love the beginning...."on this site there are no caps"....was the story of my life right there
