If you are using the same hdd on your mac there is an option to do an archive install. This will save all your old files and programs but give you a fresh mac os 10 install on your computer. But since you already reinstalled it all depends on if you installed on a new drive or if you just wiped your old drive and reinstalled mac os 10 on it.
