I would love some pointers, Flame already helped with something that kept me from learning further on the tutorials hosted here but now i need to know how to compile, provided i use linux (Linux Mint 9, pretty much the same as Ubuntu 10.04).

Lol i think its pointless to make stuff like tanks in radiant <3

Its not about it being pointless...
Its about learning how to do such things in radiant, that will help you be a better mapper.
Maybe Dougy made this tank as a model for 1 of his maps... or to teach some 1 else  how to do it them selfs.

The water tower took me 5 seconds to do so if your pleased with it, Im ultra pleased with it
