I got nothing exept the joy of making my kids happy, and then my daugther got sick. I guess it wasn't the best Christmas I've had. :( Oh well I guess maybe next Christmas will be better. :-\

sorry for breaking the line, but my favorite gift opened, wasn't to me.  ;D it was for my mom, she needs new reading, and driving glasses. so so me and all my older brothers and sister pitched in, because for her to get the eye exam, 2 new frames, and the prescription for them it was going to be 200$ and we are tight on money, so my brother wrote a note and put it under the tree, what the note said (with letters getting smaller each little line) "can you read this? if not, you will be able to soon with the new glasses we are getting you" at first she didn't realize, and then it hit her, and she just started crying. and that was my favorite part of Christmas. because i believe that is what it about, making a deference in others life's for the better. :)

Very happy this year.  I received the last two books of the serenity rpg, a new survival/first aid car kit, a documentary on the captains of the enterprise, and some funny shirts.

A friend of mine bought me 20 tons of gravel for our driveway.  No more mud!

Also got some new snowboarding gear (ThirtyTwo boots, a Burton board and a board bag), a trip to Boyne Mountain (we leave this Sunday), subscription renewals of Fine Homebuilding magazine and Diesel Power magazine, a killer new Spyder hat, and more.  Plus, Quake gave me his old Linksys router, so hopefully our connection will improve soon.
