My DroidX Verizon contract is up in December.
I think I will move on, buy a phone straight out, then go with one of those $50 or $60 a month "everything" plans.
I don't want to pay $600 for a phone. Anyone know of some cool place to buy a Galaxy ii without having to give them my left arm?

Tethered, or untethered, it really does not matter.  For the price I would rather purchase a laptop or PC.

I wouldnt Jailbreak your Iphone, idk about andriods, I've seen it in person it slows your iphone down bad. But an Ipod (What I have), is very fast and gives you more GBs to play with, free apps, movies, music, etc.

Jailbreaks don't slow down your iphone. But installing winterboard themes and all that other addon junk will for sure. Have to steer clear of the graphical stuff.

Tether sucks. You almost never have to reboot your phone, But if you do while your away from computer. Or you forget to charge your iphone overnight and it dies before you get it plugged in. BUT before your home to boot tethered. Your out of luck. :)

I used ventafone (jailbreak required) ventrilo app when 1up was using vent. But bought Teamspeak app when 1up moved to it.

I got used to having 4 icons on my dock again... :P
