Right these are the files i have for this:

MainClass.txt
ShowTime.icns
ShowTime.class
ShowTime.java

How do i compile this into a .jar file (Executable)

You'll need to create a manifest file, and then you can do something like:

jar cmf manifest.txt ShowTime.jar *

It's much easier though to just use an IDE like Netbeans or Eclipse, that can just do it all for you in one click.
