I wanne keep improving myself in the Urban Terror game and I everyday practise with different weapons, items, settings,...
Now my question here is: Wat are your control settings you guys use?

You might want to stick to one keyboard, I use QWERTY.

Try setting all your network settings to the best possible:

/rate 25000
/cl_maxpackets 49
/com_maxfps 120

If you have low FPS, try changing r_picmip

0 = most detail
1 = good detail          (/r_picmip 0,1, or 2)
2 = bad detail

I know some people who use ESDF instead of WASD, maybe you could try that if you wanted to, I did once, but I couldn't move for sh*t, so I went back to WASD

So here are some of my binds:

W - Forward
A - Left
S - Back
D - Right
F - Open doors / defuse bomb
Z - Zoom in
X - Zoom reset (don't ever use it)
C - Crouch
V - Crouch
Q - Medic
E - Sprint
R - Reload
G - Drop weapon
SHIFT - Walk

The only things I have changed from the standard UrT setting is changing sprint to shift and walk to e. Also a couple binds on my number keys (2-Drop flag 3-Drop weapon 4-Drop kevlar 5- radio lol 6 ZMLR gear binds - 7 G36 Gear binds 8- sr8 gear binds 9-my alias config 0-my zang config)

I'm not all that adventurous with my settings. Just what I need and what I'm used to.

Different location is meaning as in. Say in team chat right, left, froward, back.

Also my load and save is now op and k is /kill.

u guys cheat. i just use the standard urban terror controls. well i changed the numbers to be radio binds i guess. i didnt even change the packets thingey or my rate (wtf is rate) i think i should know this stuff...

I find it much easier just to give you guys my q3config.

p.s. just make sure to take your q3config out before you put mine in or it will rewrite your q3config

Mine's all the general stuff except for:

U- drop Kevlar
6- drop weapon
p- drop silencer
right click mouse - zoom
and I scroll to change weapons (much easier with superts)




I just pushed random keys and memorized them. So I don't recommend the above. Guess I should go bind a few more things.

Wow! This is not wat I expected, some of you guys really have wierd hands/fingers 
Like "a" For sprinting? damn, and "g" for drop weapon...
And this > Shift for walking? are you kidding me? my pinky doesnt reach that far!!
My problem is: That I never used and can't walk.. I don't know wat key to bind it to...
When I want to be silent I always crouch... :p

What does "use item" do?
