I was wondering if you could make a thirdperson cmd because.. well its kinda cool and you can see if you crouch when you do a double grab and you know... just asking if it's possible just on jump servers maybe

Sounds interesting.  Does the current cg_thirdperson only work in demo?

It only works in devmap and demos, yes.

awww you guys added /save and /load etc etc. so i thought you could add a new cmd for third person if its not possible this thread can be closed.

It already exists. It's cheat protected though and to use it you would have to enable god and other cheats. Not the best thing for a public server.

Though I'm sure it COULD be done I don't see a reason to go through all the work. It wouldn't really help and would make the game nearly unplayable trying to aim at anything like that.

Back when I played Ravenshield/Rainbow 6 etc thirdperson is how you would peek over boxes/trenches to see the enemy without revealing yourself.
