everyone starts off with a knife.. and theres only 1 gun.. (maybe an sr8 so its easier to pass the gun around between players) placed in the middle of the map.. so everyone rushes to get the gun 1st..

i think it could be fun... sr8 with unlimited ammo.. and slow the knife down so people arent just running around using a knife instead of trying to get the gun..

Maybe there should be 3 or 4 sr8's hidden around the map. Keep it default sr8 (meaning you HAVE to watch the bolt animation) BUT make it do 100% damage to every body part (arm and leg hits are insta kill just like a torso hit) and make knife do 20% damage all around with the regular attack speed.

Would be pretty interesting to see this being played by like 15-20 people.

I think having one weapon would be the fun part of it. Bc everyone will race to get it and cause a cluster ****. It doesn't necessarily have to be a sr8, I just mentioned that bc the sr8 is a slow gun and would give everyone a chance to knife the guy with it. But I'm sure you guys can mod the votes for g_gear? Like /callvote nextmap g_gear "" I dunno. Just throwing out idears

i think this would be really popular but.... there are 3 problems
1) Camping
2) Maps ( i really cant think of any sutiable maps)
3) The same people will get the sr8 all the time ( no fun for players that are not that good)

1)The player lost life if they don't kill ( like the zombie T.S system)
2)I'm sure we can find  appropriate maps like Riyad or Barn ( why not create our own map)
3) I propose to bring up players who have the top scores a little further of the weapon and bring up a player with the lowest score over nearer to the weapon

I think it's possible, maybe with a train in the map, to move the guns around, and maybe wit an automatic shooter (I don't think there are on urban terror) you could make the game more interesting (maybe with a "temple" with traps and more, indiana jones-style).

yes you can get automatic guns there are some on the zombie assault server and are called "Mr Sentry"

Why would this be so popular? There is really nothing more going on here than someone obtaining an SR8 after knife killing a person who has the SR8. Other than that, a bunch of people are just running around trying to knife everyone.

agreed, this idea sux, but would only work if everyone w/ knives was on same team, and the SR8 the opposite team, as the SR8 dude gets knifed, he becomes the knifer on opposite side... but as Ron said, it still boils down to a bunch of people running around, eventually switching servers due to boredom because almost all SR8 shooters require a camping spot that's hidden!

how would they have to be on the same team? Lets say it was TS.. on smaller, wide open maps so theres not so much camping..BUT if everyone were to run at the beginning of the map to try to get the gun.. everyone would meet around the same time in the middle making it hard for the person with the gun to get away.... and thats why i said a gun like sr8 so people cant spam legs and get easy kills... and i just meant 1 gun per round.. not a respawning gun, so everyone is fighting over one thing

and i dont know how youre able to mod things.. but what would make people go for the gun would be to make it where only the person with the gun can get knifed rather than people knifing each other... and also like minus had mentioned to prevent camping, where the health slowly goes down

like i said im just throwing out an idea... so please dont be rude with the feedback, "this idea sux"
