Update on everyone's lives?

I just got done with a jizz sack load of interviews and I landed a job as a mortgage counselor in Dallas. I really wanted to move to Seoul, South Korea to start a marketing job, but my korean isn't good enough...yet.

Games are out of reach for me atm. I haven't really had time to consistently play any games other than the occasional game of halo with friends at my old university or some skyrim. Once I see how much workload this new job puts on me, I'll decide on whether or not to get back into gaming. Perhaps Diablo 3 or Guild Wars will drag me out of the ******* of non gaming  :p.

How is everyone else doing? What are your short term/long term plans? Any aspirations you are fulfilling?

Still doing online classes for 3d animation (slow process but I enjoy it).  I have moved twice, I am no longer in MN I am in Orange, and I am looking to move to San Francisco soon.  I am getting married on August 4th (in MN... sheesh), lots of stuff to coordinate over the phone.  Work has been odds and ends.  There is a tv pilot that I am editing of... but it is riddled with so much garbage and people dropping the ball (especially audio) that I can't imagine it will go far.  The director sounds like he plans on cancelling production of the first six episodes (I think they shot most of the first 3), and will shop the pilot around for interest before continuing.  I am working vfx on a Stan Lee documentary, which should be coming out soonish.

Still looking for more stable jobs hopefully in San Francisco (really want to cut trailers and tv spots), but I am getting disheartened (I ran some fake job ads for jobs I am looking for on craigs list and the competition is steep).  I am concerned about not getting ahead if I start entry level/receptionist/assist, not to mention with loans from my bachelors still kicking my butt.  Somehow I am staying afloat with wedding costs and online school costs and making headway on student loans... but both jobs are ending in the next month (o.o).  I miss my cushy job watching render farms.  Hopefully once August is over I can get more of my affairs in order.

Started my own business this year. Hamilton County Concrete. Tons of estimates because of the nice weather so im running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Then add the 2nd child born a few weeks ago and i've got my hands full. Expect to see less of me at practice now that FTW is wrapping up. You'll still see me from time to time. I might be able to do monday night practice but we will see.

Well, Im gonna finish my school within 3 months, meanwhile I also make 3D models for my portfolio and making name on the internet, and perhaps sell them. After the school, Im gonna seek for a job in the gameindustry, apply at Electronic Arts(usa,Australia,Uk or Sweden dont know yet), or Ubisoft,... Hope I can get a job.

Just getting hired on as an employee at IBM after almost 5 years as a contractor. Working crazy hours for OT before pure salary starts. Be in Austin the 16th & 17th for employee indoctrination. Preparing for Quakecon. In fact not getting any for a while as it pissed my wife off having vacation in Dallas in August. Dedication.

Wow, seems like everyone has a lot of up and downs at this point. I will try my best to see some of you at QuakeCon, it sounds exciting. I started gaming a little again, playing some team fortress 2. Lost my interest in urban terror atm though =/
