Played my first game in DOTA 2 and even the people on my team were like "LoL takes a **** on this game".

the game has gotten loads better now


as for what someone was saying on the graphics....

they look the way they do because its modeled after warcraft 3. there was a mod for that way back called....Defense of the Ancients. DOTA2 is just an upgraded, standalone version of that

Every game out there online has an average player level, or skill level. This means basically ratio of crappy players vs ratio of good players


DOTA2 for example. This game still being in beta limits the average idiots from accessing it as easy. the game takes your w/L and battle score into effect when pairing you on a team. This creates a constant challenging atmosphere. Though of course its not perfect and you get stuck with new players who naturally suck

Combat Arms VS Blacklight....
apples and oranges but hear me out. On average the crappy players in combat arms have left alot. So the game in multi is just slightly harder than blacklight. also they do not filter servers by levels. so this mixes alot of players together. Blacklight is new. alot of newer players stick to lower servers, not all of course. This makes it slightly easier if you choose because you only play with people near comparable gear.

Skill level required

DOTA2 has a steep learning curve learning the heros and items, and final tapping etc

LOL is missing some key components that dota has that make the game harder, making it an easier game to learn and play

annnddd ... you got more losses than wins, means easier opponents for you (your normal elo is below 1200)

That wasn't a ranked match, It was normal. However it was a pre-made with people from my list.
