Train Horn

I am looking to buy a Train Horn for my truck but I don't want to spend $500 for a kit. If anyone knows where I can get a good loud train horn for my truck let me know please.  :D

search train horn, they have kits with compressors for $100+, probably find something used.

although i don't know the difference between "train horn" and just a regular air horn...

There is a huge difference. If you compare a train horn and a air horn there is a huge difference in the pitch and the distance you can hear the horn. Also a train horn takes more psi than an air horn.

stildon't really see the difference. a train horn is an air horn. diy, 3 parts, the trumpets, the solenoid, and either a co2 tank or a 12v air compressor.

FYI, train horns (ie large air horns) are illegal to use on a vehicle.  Get one if you really want to, but be ready to pay a fine if a cop hears it.

In most states they are but they are not illegal in Texas. :D Only if you use them to the point that it is a noise disturbance.  8)

I will be out in the country on private land so I won't get in trouble. Just basically be on my friends and then the parties that I go to. lol
