4.2 download

How do I download 4.2? What do I have to do? Please help.

Download it from www.urbanterror.info then in that file there is an urt updater run it. It will download files. Then click install. If it fails then i will upload a new link with further information

I also have a question about 4.2. I play with some weird controls and it will take me forever to rebind everything. I was wondering if there was a way to just copy the q3config from 4.1 to 4.2? I tried cut and paste and it just game me an error and I had to re-download 4.2 to get the config error to go away.

I went into 4.1 and typed writeconfig quake.cfg

Then copied quake.cfg into the q3ut4 folder of 4.2 and did /exec quake.cfg

or an easy way.. go into your 4.1 folder and copy your config file.. then paste it in your new q3ut4 folder thats in your 4.2 folder and overwrite the default config thats already in there.

Finally got it working. My internet just sucks at downloading.

Ya thasts what I did the first time and it ****ed it all up. I did it somehow before anyone replied. I honestly don't know what I did different for it to work the 2nd time but oh well it works and thats all I care about. :d Thanks anyways Dolt and Quake.

always good to have backups if something ever gets messed with quake.cfg stays the same. to even get into the game I had I delete q3config.cfg

Finally got it working. My internet just sucks at downloading.

On a side note, I just upgraded my internet, so it should be faster now. Hopefully......... possibly............. maybe.............
