Right now we are exploring the concept. Once we get the math and the look to make sense, then we can get the mod coded.

What does not make sense to me is how you have a field for "full member" and not trial or denial.
It looks like you want people to give 0 to 100 % mark on each field.
So a voter could just give 71% on your "full member" field.
I am ingesting your idea and will gain better insight through it.

I only added this as i could not think of another way for the auto full member option

In order for us to develop this as a voting mod we need to figure out how to make X number of categories add up to trial or full member.
There is going to be some math involved that translates percentages.

I am thinking we should do a split poll, where there is a positive and negative voting field, then the sum and difference between the two determine F1 (trial), F1 (full) or F2 (denial). So imagine it like this:

Some Person's Admission Vote
Activity   (+)Positive Score___%
Personality(+)Positive Score___%
Dedication(+)Positive Score___%
Likability(+)Positive Score___%
Preference(+)Positive Score___%
Subtotal (+) Score:xxxx%
Activity   (-)Negative Score___%
Personality(-)      Negative Score___%
Dedication(-)Negative Score___%
Likability(-)Negative Score___%
Preference(-)Negative Score___%
Subtotal (-) Score:xxxx%

i like it as "likability" better like you said than like or dislike....shows not that you like them exactly, but if people could like them....ie not a retard

I only added this as i could not think of another way for the auto full member option

make a selection box, full, trial. each selection could auto put the amount of points. just a single selection and not a 1-100 base maybe.

then maybe one for a deny. a -100 point thing, but then requires a reason typed in for it if selected

If I had it my way I'd make a rating system in 3 - 5 areas (activity, personality, dedication etc.) I dunno though, that may just overcomplicate things.
April,

I started trying to work on your idea. This is a rough view of another type of voting mod.
In this mod you can allow a single vote x number of points and you can allow x number of points to be given to any category made.
In the below poll I gave voters a maximum of 5 points to use. Each category has a maximum of 2 points.

As you can see, I voted there and used up my 5 points, but only on the sections I want to vote the person for --all or some points can be used. I am not sure how to incorporate an F1 and F2 into this, but this is a start towards your concept.

It looks really nice, maybe we can find a way to give people who have submitted more than 1 application a slight bonus to encourage them to try again if denied. It is also hard to distinguish dedication from activity, seeing how they are very similar. I like the idea though! I think it will work ^^

Alright, we can keep the current vote system by just expanding it. Each voting member would get 5 points to spread out on the options. Each option can have 1 point added (but you only have 5 points). This works because there are 5 categories.

Perhaps you think a person has "Dedication" for F1 Full, so you put a point there; and "Preference" for F1 Trial so you put a point there; and 3 points spread out on F2 Denial for the other categories.

Some Person's Admission Vote

F1 (Trial) Options
Activity   (+)Positive Score___%
Personality(+)Positive Score___%
Dedication(+)Positive Score___%
Likability(+)Positive Score___%
Preference(+)Positive Score___%
Subtotal (+) Score:xxxx%
F1 (Full) Options
Activity   (+)Positive Score___%
Personality(+)Positive Score___%
Dedication(+)Positive Score___%
Likability(+)Positive Score___%
Preference(+)Positive Score___%
Subtotal (+) Score:xxxx%
F2 (Denial) Options
Activity   (-)Negative Score___%
Personality(-)Negative Score___%
Dedication(-)Negative Score___%
Likability(-)Negative Score___%
Preference(-)Negative Score___%
Subtotal (-) Score:xxxx%

something about this just seems so......complicated. i like where its going, but maybe we can simplify it a little

Hmm, maybe something like this?
Possible three votes per area.

1= Deny
2 = Trial
3 = Full

2 Activity
3 Personality
1 Dedication
3 Likability
2 Preference

Basically an oversimplified version of what you just did.  The above would have a trial member.

5-8 = deny
9-12 = trial
13-15= full

Computers do not have problems, they have users

just make it simple.. if theres too much detail, some people wont take the time to vote

like some kind of point system for example.

full = 3 pts
trial= 2 pts
deny= -1pts

add all together and see where it lies on the scale

anything under a certain amount of points will be denied.. etc etc.

The whole point of expanding the voting system is to show the applicant why he or she was denied or approved, this allows them to improve their weak areas and have a better approach in future applications ^^
