I'm saving up money to buy a new laptop.  Can someone recommend one for me?

Well, I move around a lot, so desktop is gonna be a no go.  Also, I need a cheap one, it doesn't have to be super good, only decent.  My current laptop is really bad.

Thanks for the site, I'll take a look.

Edit: Holy Cow!  Custom gaming pc's.  I don't think I could afford this.  Plus, I only need something that will play urban terror.

Maybe I could save up 250 or summin, I maybe could get something with that I hope...   Maybe I can rake leaves (not many yards with leaves in my neighborhood, but I'll try).  Snow storms don't come often.

You need a new PC, but looking for compact.  I already have my eye on a Xi3 but that is just me.  I will eventually get one, and I will be one happy camper.  I like the fact it is easy to upgrade compared to laptops and most desktops.

The one drawback I see with you wanting something like this is that one would need a separate monitor, keyboard, and mouse.  Other than that, I really do not see the reason to get a laptop.  Yes, they are very mobile, but the upgrading of one in the future is not always easy.  If you only plan on having the PC for five to ten years, then maybe a laptop is the way to go for you.

No matter, choose what you want, and hope that you purchase something that can complete the tasks that you throw at it.  Any Walmart PC can create word documents and be able to handle other office tasks.  However I would not recommend purchasing a Walmart PC for playing the latest Crysis or other high cpu and gpu extensive games.

Good luck with your choices...

Computers do not have problems, they have users

I live in the city, so there are no yards to be seen.  During the spring though, I'll put an ad on that ad website for my neighborhood (forgot the name atm).  I'm sure there are some rich people out there with yards.  I can't lawnmow, because I don't have lawnmower, but I could do raking.  I wish I could use taskrabbit, but you need to be 21 years old.  Maybe I can sweep out churces, there's one across the street.  I'm an aetheist tho, so I'm not sure they'll allow me.

@destrick, 450 dollars is gonna be hard for me.

@cope, I need something decent for playing urt.  My current laptop gives me less than decent framerates.

@gman,  :o

Like I said before, I need a laptop for its mobility.

gl look some where like here for it, http://www.outletpc.com/ft6984-rb-e6400224-dell-latitude-e6400.html

and go ask you local old folks around your hood to wash windows ,cars , sheds etc... ask them for old junk and sell it on ebay /yard sell ask small stores to clean off doors  pick up cans and cardbroad to recycle money is easy to get if you ask the rt prices for the job they want done dont cheat yourself on the money u ask for i always ask for three times what it will take to get it done in case i have to do it more then once so they like it best of luck and just give it your best effort and you will have it in no time
