In no way are we trying to discourage you from purchasing a PC, we are trying to back you up in every way, but we do not want to see you get duped with a crappy PC that can only play solitaire and process word documents.  Please keep shopping, and post what catches your eye.

From the last post, I am guessing your budget is $200.00, so I will keep that in mind and do a little searching myself to help you find something suitable.

Computers do not have problems, they have users

its not horrible. the integrated video card in it should be able to handle UrT and the rest of the hardware is not too bad I suppose. keep in mind it does not come with a monitor

98% of desktops unless they are brand new lack wireless abilities. you would have to buy a USB wireless card

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Wintec-FileMate-PCI-Wireless-N-Network-Adapter/15074314

Will this work?  STill, I'm probably going to stick with http://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-Refurbished-Black-DC7900-Desktop-PC-with-Intel-Core-2-Duo-4GB-Memory-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-Windows-7-Professional-Monitor-Not-Included/21863270 bc I  think it does come with wireless capibilities.

Edit:  Actually, adding five dollars and getting a much better computer would probably be a better idea.  Are you sure it will just work with a wireless adapter?

Thanks.

Found this in my attic.  http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/adapters/WUSB54GSC

So will the comp work with this and connect to wireless?

if your wireless router is wireless G capable it will work. If not then it wont. you will have to look at your router to find out. Look on the bottom and it should say there somewhere. More likely than not you will need to locate the drivers for it, plug the PC into the router with a wire and download/install the drivers for it before it will work. Do some research before to make sure that you can even download drivers for the particular OS that you will be using.

As another job solution.  You can look on craigslist and help people move out (or make an add saying you will help people move).  Its easy work (in that your not thinking and just moving heavy stuff) and you can usually make somewhere in the area of 50-100$ a day (a lot of people are just ready to leave and happy with help).  I used to do this when I was in school before I had a part time job.
