Minecraft Mods

This topic is partly to see who here plays Minecraft. We already have a topic but it died a long time ago.
But for those who do play what kind of mods are you using if any? I just installed the Mo'Creatures mod like a week or two ago. But that is my only mod so far, I actually have only been playing about a month.

So do you play? If so, do you use mods? If so, which mods?

Buy me it, then. I refuse to play games that I have not tried out, and have not shown any interest towards. I mean maybe they should give us a 3-Day Guest Pass, like steam, and we can see what it's like. Instead of paying $26.99 right off the bat.

What I mean is... What if I don't like it? Do I get a refund, or do I have to live with losing $27 bucks?

if you ever played terraria, garrys mod.....and games like that, its pretty similar. Personally I think the game by itself is boring as all hell. BUT once you start installing all the mods into it, you can make it a very fun game

But i do play http://feed-the-beast.com/, its Minecraft but whit 60 cool mods.
I really enjoy playing that game, i also got my own server at Norm Minecraft and FTB

You can download Minecraft SP, so you dont have to buy it.
But that way you only can play on cracked servers ( the most of all servers are cracked ) and you have no skin, but thats not the point.

there's some cool mods to help you in game, such as too many items is a GREAT admin tool for spawning items (must have /give command)
Rei's minimap is a little minimap of the surrounding area
Zan's Minimap is the same as Rei's Minimap, but shows players and hostile/neutral/peaceful mobs.
Not enough items is a cool mod, but only works on singleplayer and requires forge (another mod that LOTS of mods require)

I used to play a lot before it started to become an fps hog with my crap computer.  VERY FUN GAME.  imo doesn't take mods 2 be fun, but they are pretty cool.  sdk's gun mod.  tech pack (heard it's good).  Be the creeper.  Mo' Creatures definitely.  biospheres mod.  millenare (workers and villagers).  Builders mod (building npc's).  optifine, an fps increasing mod.  If you like cheating single player commands (i think it takes the fun out of the game).  Aether mod.   There used to be a nazi zombies mod...  zombies custom maps! (not a mod, but whatever)  I used tex packs too, good stuff.  try doku.  Some of these things may be dead, haven't played in a long time.  Also play on servers!  http://www.gamefront.com/top-10-best-minecraft-servers/4/  I'll play again soon (when I buy my new computer).
