Because the King has been away on business. I am getting married next week after all. With my triumphal return you can expect a natural influx of activity.

Exactly. Him and his buddies that held the majority of a vote and could basically be the deciding factor on whether or not people got into the clan. They pretty much ran around almost as if they ran the place. The clan might be a little boring without them stirring up trouble but it's stable.

Stability and security trounces totalitarian rule.
