Help Flexan

For those of you who don't know, Flexan[1up] had a house fire on Christmas Eve, and lost the majority of his belongings. He is now living out of his car, and working day labor jobs to make ends meet (food and gas).

Flexan does not have a computer or access to one at the moment, but he would very much love to hear from any 1up members, even if to wish him well. His # is (754) 214-7175 (Dial +1 if calling from outside the U.S.A.). He does have some internet on his phone, but it is slow and not always easy to use.

He recently made this post to the 1up Facebook Page:

hello one up community. I'm learning how to facebook on my phone so bear with me. Ron help me kind of figure out how to get to the one of community on my phone today. it's so unbelievable how devastated my life is right now. I'm basically broke homeless and hungry. all my real friends were online playing games with me. I really miss you guys and girls. I lost everything in the fire. I haven't been able to work because of the holidaysand I need some kind of help if anybody can help me god bless you I need it.my phone number is 754 214 7175. I'm living in a Ford Explorer. I'm out of money and I'm out of food and I'm almost out of gas. I don't even know how anybody could help me but please give me a call.

After talking with Flexan on the phone today, I volunteered to help him get setup with a Paypal Account so he could receive donations. I know some of you will want to help him out. You can send money to him via Paypal.com using his email address (flexanfund@gmail.com) at no cost to you (if you use the Send Money to Friends/Family option within Paypal) or him. This money will help Flexan with day to day expenses (food/gas) until he can get a stable job and gets back on his feet.

I did something for him. I'm hoping we can get him on his feet again. Flex was a lot of entertainment back in the day when we all played Urt 4.1 together.

Flex told me tonight that some of the donations received are starting to show up in his bank account now. He said he's really feeling the love from 1up

I do not have a phone at the moment so Brandon or Ron if you talk to Tim please let him know I will be thinking of him and hope he gets back on his feet soon. Also, if anyone who has a Facebook account (I do not or I would do this myself) might want to look into setting up a gofundme.com campaign in his name. It will reach quite a few people there that it would otherwise not reach.

I chose not to setup a gofundme page for him because they charge about 8% of the donations. Also, if we had to then Western Union the donations to him after that, it would be another 10%-12%.

The way I set it up costs 0% and Flex receives 100% of the donations.
