Some weapons have crosshairs, other weapons you have aim down site.

Yeah there's an option to turn on crosshairs. Ive tried it and Id rather play without the crosshair.

I feel like the game has incorporated an experience without a crosshair. We just get used to the game having no crosshairs that we just play that way.
