Updating my CPU Cooler

Yesterday, I bought this Thermaltake NiC C5 because my cpu is getting too hot when playing some Steam based games:



My stock cooler that came with my AMD 4.1 (4.4 turbo) CPU just won't keep it cool.
My theory is that I'm bottlenecked because my system gets too hot, which kills FPS at some point or causes up-n-down massive drops.

That's the same one I have on mine.  It could just be the game too.  Mine has wild swings in insurgency also.
