I route to TX just to back to LA... whoever thought that through is a genius

Yeah, My ISP was screwing around one day and I was pinging 120 to dallas... did a traceroute and it was etown(central PA)->philly->new york->chicago->atlanta->dallas made no sense at all.  And sometimes when I get routed through Wash. DC I get packet loss and in that hop.  I'm pretty sure a majority of the issue with my connection (red blocks in the netgraph) is internal to the campus though...

My upload is actually 4mb but this is close enough for a one off test and the download speed is pretty much on the money.

WHOA! How much do you pay a month? I that fiber to the home? Incredible, those are South Korea speeds dude!

Actually It's standard broadband speeds for Comcast around here and I pay about 150.00 a month for phone, cable , and internet all 3 :)

Good news for me is in about a week I am going to upgrade my internet to a 100Mb/s Down / 30Mb/s up connection for just a little bit more. Once I do I will post another speedtest.

Yep, Comcast kicks ass.  I live in an apartment, so full basic cable tv is free and my Comcast internet is only $30 a month.  Comcast broadband usually runs around $50.  Either way, for speeds like this, its a deal.

My dsl modem seems to be blocking ICMP Echo requests, even though the firewall is not active.... got to look into that further, but my ping to TX usually runs 60-90 with less than 5 jitter. (yes, the ping number above is correct.  My first hop is to Boise, ~300mi away.

Yeah, whatever.

I have been having some crappy Internet that started Friday.  I know I attempted to try out NMRiH, and was probably annoying the other players with my Internet connection issues.

Looks like my Internet is having seizures or something.  It has been unstable all weekend, and they are closed during the weekend.  Unless of course you have the cash for weekend technical assistance.

To think I am paying for 16 Mbps down, and 1 Mbps up, and this is what I am getting...  :o
I am currently using Fidelity Communications as my ISP

Seems the bugs are out of their system, and I should be returning to gaming again.
