ADMINISTRATION

1. 1up Clan Forums administration classifications:

     1up Clan Founder, 1up Dev Admin, 1up Senior Admin, 1up Decision Panel, 1up Global Moderator, 1up Human Resources, 1up Application Staff, 1up Development Member, 1up Voting Member, 1up Member, 1up Trial Member, 1up Support Member, and Administrative Leave.

2. 1up Clan Gaming Servers administration classifications:

     1up Senior Admin, 1up Urt Admin, 1up KF Admin, and 1up Server Referee.


Terms and Definitions:

"1up Clan Founder" means the 1up Founder, i.e., the person who established 1up as an organizational clan. The term shall be narrowly construed to recognize RonaldLee[1up] as the sole remaining Clan Founder.

"1up Dev Admin" means the 1up hierarchy position directly subservient to the Clan Founder. A Dev Admin is a person who acts in the capacity of an administrator over a majority of 1up services, inclusive of sites and servers.

"1up Senior Admin" means the Server Admin with the most seniority (i.e., the longest surviving Server Admin); a person who acts in the capacity of an administrator over 1up server and forum areas.

"1up Global Moderator" means a person who acts in the capacity of moderator over 1up Forum areas.

"1up Decision Panel" (DP) is a division of the Clan clothed with authority to officially resolve conflict between clan members. This may include the adjudication of matters that involve violations of the 1up Code of Conduct. The DP is comprised of a Committee Chairman, Four Committee Members and two Alternate Members.

"1up Human Resources" (HR) is a division of the Clan that clothes a single member with authority to provide informal clan member conflict resolution. HR Management often acts as a mediator between parties in efforts to resolve conflict issues. Internal and external issues are often forwarded to HR for discussion, analysis, recommended action course or adjudication. The HR Manager sits on the DP as a Committee Member. IF the HR Manager is unable to reach an informal resolution between clan members, then the HR Manager presents the issue to the DP for official adjudication.

"1up Application Staff" is a division of the Clan that clothes a member with authority to process admissions applications. The Application Staff process applications in the initial stages by assigning approval and vote dates; in the medium stages by assigning various Status votes. Other services are performed ad hoc when specialized voting needs arise with regard to appeal votes, ejection-styled votes, and atypical votes. In the context of clan mergers the role of Application Staff is to facilitate the timely completion of a merger application.

"1up Urt Admin" means a 1up Member who performs or is authorized to perform administrative functions on 1up Urban Terror game servers.

"1up KF Admin" means a 1up Member who performs or is authorized to perform administrative functions on 1up Killing Floor game servers.

"1up Referee" means a 1up Member who performs or is authorized to perform limited administrative functions, in general, on 1up game servers.

"1up Development Member" means a person who engages in the process of developing code, services, or ideas into creation. The development group is highly prized. To be in this group signifies that the person is capable of extreme achievements.

"1up Voting Member" means a 1up who is authorized to vote on official polls (a 1up Member who has held the seat of a 1up Member for at least 90 days).
 
1up Member" means a person who has been promoted one rank upwards from that of a trial membership.

1up Trial Member" means a 1up applicant who has been awarded the 1up tag and accepted into the 1up Clan on a probationary period. The probationary period runs a minimum of 30 days up to a maximum of 90 days, but may be tolled for exceptional circumstances.

1up Support Member" means a person who has a limited membership with 1up. A 1up Support Member is not a 1up Member or a 1up Trial Member, but has the privilege of wearing the [1up] tag, may participate in 1up-only matters where permissible, and generally is recognized as providing support services to the Clan.

Administrative Leave" means the member class assigned to a clan member who is placed in the inactive status.

Amendment 8/15/2013:

Categories of members edited. Added the following groups: 1up Dev Admin, 1up Decision Panel, 1up Urt Admin, and 1up KF Admin. Removed the following groups: 1up Global Admin and 1up Admin.

Amendment 5/7/2013:

Categories of members expanded to include: 1up Clan Founder, 1up Global Admin, 1up Senior Admin, 1up Server Admin, 1up Server Referee, 1up Human Resources, 1up Application Staff,  1up Development Member, 1up Voting Member, 1up Member,  1up Trial Member, 1up Support Member, and Administrative Leave.

Amendment 11/14/2011:

Clan Admins and Clan Referees shall be accorded voting privileges regardless of the duration or term of their full membership. The privilege to vote shall be a condition precedent for Clan Admins and Clan Referees.
