I want to start a LAN game using the battlefield map that my client should have downloaded from 1up CTF server. However, I don't see it on the list of available maps when I try to create a server.

Set up your server, go into it on a random map, then type:

/map ut4_battlefield_b2

That would work, wouldn't it?

Yes this worked

(actually, I typed /map ut4_battlefield_bc)

Why doesn't it show up in the menu?

Next question:

Why is it that one of the teams has access to one of the secret areas above the field? It seems like there are two sniper silos above, but only one is accessible and through roof access on one side of the map. The other day I also noticed that there is a platform above the two sniper silos. How do people get up there? I am just glad that not too many people abuse these "features" of the map on the CTF server..

On the blue side you need to wall jump climb to get on top to get the sky box and then the red side just jump and climb up.

You don't even need to start a server just open up UrT and type /map ____ into console.
