What can maps do?
« on: June 02, 2010, 12:27:46 PM »
I was wondering if there is anyway to set certain places on a map to explode every X number of seconds so you die? My map idea isn't slated towards big games, or even small games really. I was thinking of making a training ground for myself with moving targets and snipe nests that explode repeatedly. This way, I can train myself to hit moving targets (while moving, if it is possible and I decide to blow up parts of my path) as well as be one of those snipers who can hit something without really aiming.

That's an interesting thought. I don't think it is possible, but if it is, I call making a WWII trench warfare map :D

I thought trench warfare was WWI not WWII?

Is it possible to make pendulums or swinging signs in Urban Terror?

How about hit once and twist pendulums? Meaning there's a pendulum that's upside down, and when you hit it, the sign turns sideways?

Is it possible to nuke player located at (x,y,z)?

@Flame, are thsoe switches available? Keep in mind this will be my first map. Probably won't even make it presentable the first time. Just for me to practice on.
