I noticed that there are banners for the different sections of the forums, and I have not made any of them.  I decided to make one for Star Conflict with a similar style as the others.



I guess I could make a few more for the other games mentioned in the gaming section, if they are needed.

Thank you for the compliment, even though it was a subjective statement.
I can say that I have been using GIMP for about sixteen years, and it has helped me know the tools of the application.  I can say that I am not as proficient with Inkscape or Photoshop as I would like to be, but I can recreate most tutorials from them using GIMP.

Kind of off topic, but have you ever seen what some individuals can do with MS Paint?  It is unbelievable, but then again, they have mastered the tools.  I can make boxes and stick figures with MS Paint, and that is about it.  If one can say to another that their works look great, one can only say thank you.

I do not know what application you use, but I am sure that if you use as many tutorials as you can, no matter the source, and try your best at completing the project to your satisfaction, it would look great to another that does not have the patience or skills to accomplish the same.  I am sure many of your works look great to me, and would only inspire me to do something similar.  Hopefully THIS LINK can inspire you as well.  These links are an assortment of tutorials that I have gathered during my time using GIMP, and hopefully they will inspire you also.

I just completed this banner for War Thunder.



Hard to believe the original War Thunder logo is actually this big when I started.


But the original logo, from the media presskit is kind of boring, and looks much better after I played with it.

Here is an avatar for UrT that I was wonking on and just finished.



The download files .XCF and PSD will be attached below for GIMP and Photoshop.
I know it is huge, but when resized to an avatar, it looks fine.
