Tanks bringing over his rig tonight and we are gonna get my map straitened out... Probably reinstall Radiant because its acting CRAZY.. Seriously I make changes save, Compile.. Load it up in radiant later and just 1 of the changes might have flipped back.
I also get crashes and graphical errors lockups etc.


Also if anyone is interested, Id really like to get steam/smoke emmitters figured out like in tohunga and footsteps that sound like what your walking on.. (Instead of it sounding like your walking on concrete in the snow)  Maybe other grunt work if your up to it. Payment in Pride and your name on the loading screen

oooooooh i want my name on the title screen and i also kinda want to make the title screen :p

well here it goes to get your sound you use a trigger, that trigger goes to a target_speaker and put the .wav file you want into it make sure to put the .wav in your sounds folder for the pk3.You usualy want to use a trigger_always.

and for the steam smoke simulators you could have a texture of it going up alpha it out and then add a shader so it is able to go through and transparent

Just played b3_4 on tdm.. you've really outdone yourself Quake, its a really good map. The textures look more consistent throughout the whole map than before, looking pro man! I'm looking forward to your future maps even more now!

The door handle does not move with the door when the door is broken/destroyed

Actually Dougy nothing really "Moves" the door is breakable shoot it a few times and it goes away but the handle is not.

Just so everyone who might venture into this thread knows, Im buying a house for a steal but it needs alot of work and my wife and I are having a baby here real soon. Mapping is on the back burner for a little bit. I made alot of progress on V4 so when I finally get back to it I should be able to crank through it in a week or two. Im so Fing tired...
