He already did posted pictures of it. I'm more of a Chevy guy than a ford guy, and I myself have never heard of the motor either. IM NOT CALLING TERM AN IDIOT! I'm just saying, I know my chevy motors okay and I've never heard of one.. THAT doesn't mean it doesn't exist..
I think he's taking our skepticism a little personally; we're just enthusiasts, and when we hear about something we've never heard of before, we get all hot and bothered.
I was also a certified machinist out of high-school, and worked for a small company preparing rebuilds for a while. i.e. milling heads, boring blocks, port and polishing etc.. 350sbc and 351sbf are probably the motors we saw more of than anything else. (probably more-so than all other motors combined) TO ME, the pictures he posted appear to be that of a small-block. At a glance, if I were being tested, I'd guess chev350 to be safe JUST based on the valve covers.. i.e. their length, distance apart from each-other etc..
I AM NOT A SPECIALIST, by ANY stretch of the imagination! My knowledge is very limited, so I am stepping out of this conversation until further notice. I'm just saying, term, its a double-edged sword: Don't act like we're idiots for not knowing about your extremely rare engine, and don't get so defensive over Maddog's insatiable curiosity. I too, am intrigued.
