You darn kids and your fancy anime.

Back in my day we had Loony Toons and Smurfs. And we were lucky we got that. Oh and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after school (which we had to walk 7 miles uphill each way though a foot of snow, even in the summer to reach).

Now get off my lawn.

I used to be a huge anime freak back in my highschool days, now i watch anime very rarely and only when it comes recommended by some of my close friends who keep up with the news regarding this universe, personally i lean towards more serious-mature content so you may not like my list, altho i include some classics, those never fail:

Slayers
Vision of Escaflowne
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Mahou Tsukai Tai
Vampire Hunter D
Robot Carnival
Otomo Katsuhiros Memories
Papritka
Perfect Blue
Serial Experiments Lain
Monster: Horrible Story
Ghost in the Shell (the movies, and the series, EVERYTHING GITS, EVEN THE MANGA....AAAAAALL OF IT!!!)
Cowboy Bebop
Lensman, secret of the lens
Robotech -- Macross (Specially Macross Plus, i LOVE YOKO KANNO)
Gurren Lagan
Samurai Shamploo
Wolfs Rain
Time of Eve
Great Teacher Onisuka

and a big ETC i guess...

EDIT: oh! also Millenium Actress and Azumanga Daioh (i love this anime, makes me feel really relaxed and at ease, not to mention its hella funny xD)
