Hi, if you remember I posted the thread "GAME BOOSTER" asking if it would be useful for me.
Thanks for the information and the manual link that you posted for me.

I went to see a URT forum in my mother languaje,cause I thought that way I would understand everything a lot better.

I ´ve told that if it were a ping problem, there would be a sign there saying so.
That It can be a problem from my internet provider.
And finally the one that for the moment has convinced more: (until I try and I find out if it´s really the problem)

the IP number that I have to introduce in the console, before introducing the server number.

So, can you pls tell me the IP number that has to be introduced in the console, so I can try?
that´s all for now, and I hope not to ask more questions...

What happens when you try to connect?

Try using GameFire. It works for me.

Also, download the 1up Server Monitor available on this page: http://1upclan.info/projects.php
It has direct connect links and lets you see in real time who is playing which 1up server.

when I try to connect, it just keeps on the "waiting for connection" stage, and it keeps CONNECTING  minutes and minutes and minutes...

is it possible that I really need to introduce ip number?

Try connecting
Then in the console type /timescale 99

That is how I was shown if I got the "this server is for low pings only"

Inko i also had this problem when I first tryed playing on the 1up servers. First I made sure I wasn't running other programs such as firefox, or itunes, at the same time urban terror was running. Next I lowerd my graphics settings, and occasionally i would be able to connect. Also if you get stuck on the "Awaiting snapshot screen" then type /reconnect in console. You can pull up your console by hiting ~. This also works for me. Also one question do you ever get the window that says "CL_Getservercommand: a reliable command was cycled out" This still happens to me occasionally, but in the end after doing these steps I was able to play on 1up servers. Hope this helps

I have installed "GameFire"

I typed on console "scale 99" and apart from speeding the numbers while "tryng to connect" nothing happened...

I typed in console "reconnect"...and still the same problem.

Well, this kind of computer problems sometimes happen,I have to add that 1 month ago I took my computer to technitian to make a whole cleaning of the system, and it should work (at least theorically) .

It doesn´t came up any notification.It is just stuck in "waiting for connection" I will keep on going to other URT urban terror forums,and investigate and try...
And read again the guide...I m not used to gaming vocabulary, so it´s a little bit difficult for me to understand some stuff.

I guess I have to keep being patient.
