Spiral Staircases

Here's a nice little technique to make an
object that can be a little tricky.  It's not
that difficult but fairly involved .

Start  out with a basic brush that will  represent  the first step.
You  might  want  to  start out near  the ceiling to give yourself
enough room to do the deed.  Once the first step is sized up to
your liking go ahead and clone it using the space bar and flip
it  around with the z-axis button until you have four steps that
face eachother.  Now  select  all four brushes and clone them
using the spacebar so that a duplicate set exists on the same 
plane.  Now it's time to make some brush pie!


   

With the new set selected go ahead and use the free rotate
button to move the brushes so that they line up at the edge
of  the  first  set.  Repeat  this  process  until  you  have a full
circle  of  steps  as  pictured  below.
